Black Hawk Down was in rotation on cable so much a fews months ago that I went out and got the book.
Was only a matter of time until I got the soundtrack. I admit it is damn odd to be getting my war on with music while our most current war is on going or winding down. Depends on who you ask. As for the soundtrack, I’m digging the african/rock flava and if I’m not mistaken there’s a slight irish sound there too. Even the one cut that’s abso-freaking-lutely long as hell(it clocks in at 17 minutes) is good stuff.

Earth.
The 20th century.
The year, 1983. A time of Reganomics and Members Only jackets. It is also a time for Saturday morning cartoons. The one and only way to get all your cartoon needs filled. What other time can you remember waking up around 8 am, just to watch TV for 4 hours straight?
Apparently, a lot of other eighties kids remember those times too, cause they made a rock album covering some of the memorable and arguably annoying toons that aired on Saturday morn. The album’s been out for a while, but it’s teh 21st Century man. There are tons of ways of getting your own copy.

She’s returned to my winamp player. She haunts me with her sultry voice. She rocks me with her funklicious groove. She has red hair. She has chops(that’s skillz to you 21st century kids). She should be in your player too.
