Huntsville is an engineering town. It’s chock full of geeks and random geekery. You would think that I’d be happy as a pig in poo because of this, me being a geek. I’m not. Engineering geekery is a totally other level of the now popular category. There is some overlap but not much. Huntsvillians are also big on getting married right out of the womb. It’s not a case of teenage pregnancies, for the most part. It’s a case of southern mentality which has it’s positives and negatives. All I’ve known is The South so all i can see are the negatives and I’m damn tired of them.
I tell you these things becasue something is a foot is this unsual town. My surprise, when I saw last sunday’s Huntsville Times, was great.
