I was running the other night around this time. I like working out late. So, I was clocking mile(s) on my apartment’s treadmill and watching MTV. Cause music and working out are like “peas and carrots” only more edible.
MTV shows videos at this time of night. A novel thought indeed. This vdeo comes on. It’s a re-make of Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots are Made for Walking”. The hottest blonde I’ve seen on tv in the last 10 minutes pops out of the General Lee and sings about these boots.
I was captivated.
The song was funky/awesome. I swear I ran an extra mile during those 3 minutes.
I was so blinded by the groove and the hot blonde that I couldn’t quite put my finger on, that I was actually stunned when video ended. The credits were shown. It was Jessica damn Simpson.
I actually like a Jessica damn Simpson song.
I feel dirty.
