I read an interview quote where Wesley Snipes was talking about developing Marvel’s the Black Panther into a movie.
Hey, Wesley! The Black Panther is a full-on African superhero. Educated in America, yes. But born in that distant fictional african land known as Wakanda. Next time do better research or at least read past the fact that T’Challa is black before you start sending out feelers about making a movie about him. Cause you just know comic geek fuck-ups, like meself, are gonna call you on that noise. You want us happy, Wesley. We’re the ones paying for the disappointment.
If Blade’s 2 and 3 are hints to what you would do to T’Challa’s(The Black Panther) movie debut, good gods man just let the project die. I’m sure someone more capabale will come around and do it up right. I wonder if Christopher Priest has any ambition to direct?
Speaking of those last two Blade movies…goddamnit, I want my money back. Good god, man, did you even read that noise before you signed the contract? I want the gas money I spent driving to the theatre and I want to be retroactively re-imbursed for the time I wasted on them. I want two thirds of the combined budget to be taken up in a collection and spread out among countries in dire need.
The last third you give to me, cause I’m hella sure I can more creative/productive ways to blow a few million dollars than what you did making those flicks. The first million would be spent on whores and booze alone.
